The Face behind the Name
Natascha’s love for all-things-fashion has been with her from a young age; her simple creations for the dressing-up box soon progressed to more sophisticated garments for everyday wear. A Manchester Fashion Institute alumni, Natascha has worked as a pattern cutter and designer for the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and sustainable fashion brands. Drawing inspiration from anything and everything, Natascha is especially passionate that the past can still speak to the present and her designs frequently incorporate silhouettes, embellishment and fabrics that are reminiscent of a bygone era. Using her flare for drape and cut, understanding of the female figure, she is able to create flattering pieces that are simultaneously a nod to the glamour of the past whilst still refreshingly new. Her latest venture has been building SOUNDS TO HEAVEN, a sub brand to NATASCHA BANKART which explores the connection between sound and print. You can find out more about SOUNDS TO HEAVEN here.

Marrying her love for individuality with her concern for climate change, has allowed Natascha to produce a collection which offers unique garments that are kind to our planet. Our made to order service reduces waste (70% of garments produced each year end up in landfill) focusing on sustainability and ethical trade, all our garments are designed and created in the UK.

Vision
Spring Summer 2022 Collection
The last couple of years have seen a lot of plans and dreams put on hold, owing to the pandemic. Vision invites you to revisit them; to reignite your passion, your imagination. To be bold.
Being separated from friends and loved ones during lockdown showed us the vital importance of our relationships with each other. Our Spring/Summer collection celebrates these relationships, particularly those we have with the women in our lives. Mothers, daughters, cousins, sisters and friends. Here at Natascha Bankart, we are passionate about encouraging girls and women to pursue their dreams, and to support one another in these too. We believe there is such power in groups of women standing together, learning from each other as those pearls of wisdom are passed on, from generation to generation.
With this in mind, each of our garments has been named after a pioneering or adventurous woman in history. These range from well-known figures such as Jane Austen and Rosa Parks, to our lesser-known ladies like Aphra Behn and Corrie Ten Boom. We believe that every one of these amazing women had a dream, a vision, for what they wanted to achieve, and they refused to let societal constraints or doubts hold them back. We hope that their fearlessness will inspire you as much as they have done us.
Awakening

This is an ethos central to Awakening. Inspired by traditional fairy tales and dreamy pre-Raphaelite paintings, Natascha’s first collection offers you the chance to bring a little magic to your everyday life. Beautiful clothes don’t have to be saved for special occasions, but should be there to bring you joy on the dreariest of days. With lockdown restrictions currently lifted, let’s make the most of our restored freedom.
Moreover, Awakening has been designed with versatility in mind. This is a collection in the truest sense of the word – the garments Natascha has created are intended not only as stand-alone showstopper pieces, but also to work with and complement each other. Layering your clothing is crucial for the colder months and Awakening will allow you to do so in style. Have fun experimenting with these beautiful but practical tops, corsets and coats so that you too can create your own fairy tale.
